Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection è un cofanetto,pubblicato nel 2004 consistente in ben quattro CD, un libro che ripercorre la carriera di Michael Jackson, con un saggio del critico musicale Nelson George; ed infine un DVD, contenente la registrazione del concerto svoltosi a Bucarest, nel 1992; racchiusi in una confezione in pelle.

I quattro cd comprendono i successi dei Jackson 5 dal 1969 al 1970, come "I Want You Back" ed "ABC"; i primi singoli di Michael Jackson da solista, che dal 1971 al 1995 hanno raggiunto la prima posizione nelle classifiche americane POP e R&B, come "Ben", "Rock With You" o le più recenti "Black Or White" e "You Are Not Alone". Il singolo "Cheater" è stato pubblicato nel 2004, trasmesso dalle radio; in realtà, si tratta di canzone scritta ai tempi di Bad.
